Greener Duns was established in 2021 as a SCIO No SC051641 to work in Duns and District to encourage community level climate action. As a member of Circular Communities Scotland we are actively encouraging repair, reuse and upcycling through annual Make Do and Mend Events. We work in partnership with many other Duns based organisations including BAVS. We are active members of the Borders Greenway initiative https://www.gavinton.net/borders-greenway/ which will pass through Duns, and hope to encourage more cycling through provision of bike maintenance and Dr Bike sessions, as well as the Cycling UK Access bike scheme.
