Experienced Bicycle Mechanic Wanted to Join the Just Cycle Charity in Tweedbank.
Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for someone who has a passion for cycling, holds a recognized qualification as a cycle technician and/or can demonstrate a proven track record as a cycle mechanic. The successful candidate will have great interpersonal skills, a clear desire to work as part of a strong and committed team and be willing themselves to a role where they will deliver to very high standards of Customer Service
As a Bike Mechanic in our workshop and sales office in Tweedbank, you’ll be providing high quality bike maintenance and repair services to help our customers enjoy their bikes for longer. To put it simply, the purpose of your role is to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems whilst ensuring that your customers receive the best experience in the process. You’ll also be involved in recycling and repairing recycled donated bikes , which means that you’ll play an integral part in achieving our collective mission to help preserve our planet.
This will initially be a temporary position with the possibility of becoming a permanent post for the right candidate.

General Housekeeping

Who are you?
An active and passionate sports person
Cytech or Velotec certified or experienced in bike repairs and maintenance.
Problem solver and creative thinker.
People orientated with a high sense of service.
Invested in the development of yourself and others.
Additional Information:
As a Just Cycle Bike Mechanic, you will be required to work 25 hours per week including Saturdays between the hours of 10.00 am and -5.00 pm. The role will be both shop-floor and workshop based with Covid-19 safety regulations and precautions in place. The safety of our teammates and customers is our main priority during these times.
