We are a social enterprise being established to increase cycling and walking in, and around, Galashiels. We will also promote everyday acceptance of autism.
We want to promote active travel and healthy leisure activities – and make them available to everyone regardless of income. We have all been through some tough times over the last few years, and the current cost of living crisis means it is more important than ever that we all look for ways to maintain good mental health and wellbeing. It is also time to think about how using active travel options for shorter journeys will help reduce carbon emissions and save us money. In time, we hope to offer information about local walking and cycling routes, Walk It walks, led cycle rides, bike hire, bike repairs, bike storage and an area where people can just sit down to chat.
